Everything you need to know before you travel
We have compiled answers to the most common questions our customers ask. If you need further assistance, reach out to us at [email protected] or visit our contact page.
Understanding how the reservation process works helps you prepare for your trip. These questions cover the steps from search to confirmation.
Enter your pickup location, dates, and times on the homepage. Browse available vehicles, compare features and terms, then select the one that suits your needs. Complete the booking form with driver details and pay the advance online. You will receive a voucher by email with pickup instructions and the local rental company contact details.
You will need the main driver's full name as it appears on the driving licence, email address, phone number, and flight details if picking up at an airport. The voucher and rental agreement will be issued in the main driver's name.
Yes. During the booking process you can select paid optional services such as a second driver, child seat, HGS toll transponder for motorways, or a cross-border permit for Greece or Georgia. Each extra has a separate charge shown before you confirm.
Knowing what to pay when makes the process smoother. The advance secures your booking, and the remainder is settled at pickup.
You pay a booking advance online by card when you reserve. The remaining balance is due when you collect the vehicle. The split amount is shown clearly during booking and in your voucher.
We accept major debit and credit cards for the online advance. Cash cannot be used for online payments. For detailed information about accepted cards, see our payment methods page.
The acceptable payment methods for the remaining balance depend on the specific vehicle you have booked. Options may include debit card, cash, or credit card. Check your voucher for the exact payment method allowed for your reservation.
Many vehicles on our platform do not require a deposit hold. For others, blocking conditions vary by vehicle and are stated upfront.
It depends on the vehicle. Many cars in our inventory are available with no deposit hold at all. For vehicles that do require a security hold, the rental company may block a sum on a credit card in the main driver's name. The requirement is listed for each vehicle during search and in your voucher. Excess coverage remains separate from deposit policy.
Choose a vehicle marked as no-deposit to avoid the need for a card hold entirely. If the vehicle you want does require a hold, consider raising the limit on your debit card before travel, or ask a co-traveller to be the main driver if they hold a suitable card.
If a hold was placed, the rental company releases it after you return the vehicle in the same condition and on time. The release timeline depends on your card issuer and usually takes between three and fifteen business days.
You must meet legal and company requirements to drive. Prepare your documents before arriving at the counter.
You need a valid driving licence held for at least one year, a passport or national identity card, the voucher we email you, and the card used for the online advance. An International Driving Permit is recommended for longer stays and may be required by some companies.
Minimum age and licence-holding period vary by vehicle. Most cars require the driver to be at least 21 years old with one year of driving experience. Certain models, especially larger or more powerful vehicles, may require age 25 or older. Age rules are shown in the vehicle terms during search.
Collection and drop-off procedures depend on the local rental company. Your voucher contains all the details you need.
Pickup location depends on the rental company. You may collect at a desk inside the airport terminal, at a car park near the airport, or at a city office. Some companies offer delivery to your hotel for an additional charge. The exact address, meeting point, and contact phone number are in your voucher.
The rental company representative will inspect the vehicle with you and note any existing damage on the agreement. Check the exterior, interior, tyres, and fuel level. Take photos if you wish. You will sign the rental agreement, which lists the condition, insurance terms, and fuel policy. Keep a copy with you during your trip.
Some companies allow after-hours drop-off by prior arrangement. Contact the rental company using the details in your voucher to confirm procedures and key-drop location. Charges may apply for out-of-hours return.
Turkey has specific road rules and infrastructure. Knowing the basics keeps you legal and helps you plan routes.
Standard limits are 50 km/h in built-up areas, 90 km/h on rural roads, and 120 km/h on motorways. Signs indicate lower limits in some zones. Police enforce limits with fixed and mobile cameras.
Motorways marked with an O-prefix and major bridges including the Bosphorus and Osmangazi use the HGS electronic toll system. You can add an HGS toll transponder as a paid optional extra during booking. Without it, you must register your licence plate online and top up credit manually, which is less convenient.
Cross-border travel to Greece or Georgia is possible only if you purchase a cross-border permit during booking and receive written permission from the rental company in advance. Driving to other countries is not permitted under standard rental agreements.
Plans change. Understanding your options for modifying or cancelling a booking protects you if circumstances shift.
Contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible. We will check availability and let you know if changes can be made. Modification terms depend on the rental company and how close you are to the pickup date. Additional charges may apply if the new booking costs more.
Cancellation terms vary by vehicle and rental company. Most bookings allow free cancellation up to a certain number of hours before pickup. The exact deadline and any applicable fees are stated in your voucher and booking confirmation. Email us to request cancellation and we will process it according to the terms.
